Diana Olney is an author, poet, life-long bookworm, and the creator of Siren’s Song, the nightmarish new comic series you now hold in your hands! Raised in the haven of horror and grunge music, Seattle, Washington, Diana is most at home in the shadows, where she writes in endless shades of fiction, following her imagination down roads paved in blood, bone, death, hope, light, love, and of course, darkness. Her stories, articles, and poems can be found in publications such as Dark Horses Magazine and Memento Mori Ink Magazine, as well as anthologies by Hellbound Books, Worldstone Publishing, Crystal Lake Entertainment, Critical Blast, and Last Waltz Publishing. Her most recent works are the incendiary tale “Fire Escape,” in the anthology To Hell & Back (Hellbound Books & Crystal Lake Entertainment), and “Daddy Issues,” a macabre adventure led by the daughter of Satan himself, in the anthology The Devil You Know Best (Critical Blast).
She is also a columnist with the aforementioned horror magazine, Memento Mori Ink.

The journey of Siren’s Song began just a few years ago, when Diana met PIG Records president David Portnow. Fueled by a mutual affinity for horror, comics, and rock music, a friendship was forged that soon spawned the first issue of this incredible series. Illustrated by the talented hand of fellow Seattleite Beth Hammer, Siren’s Song will deliver thrills, chills, and bloodbaths for years to come.

Diana’s current projects include the forthcoming issues of Siren’s Song, publishing a leaning tower of short stories, and putting the finishing touches on her first full-length novel. Her “mewses”, two stylish black cats by the names of Dolce and Gabbana, are always at her side, shadowing her as she delves deep into wild new worlds night after night (she too, is a nocturnal animal). She also enjoys exploring the visual arts with prolific photographers Edward Dose and Jaymz Kennedy.
